This work documents an object, an installation entitled Bread-Grass, placed by the artist on the training ground of the Legia Warszawa Football Club in July 1972. There is another photograph of the same installation, which Zarębski made in collaboration with Leszek Fidusiewicz (1943). It shows the same object from above, showing the gravel surface on which there is an oblong loaf of bread with grass growing out of it.

Pionier sztuki performans w Polsce, malarz, rzeźbiarz, autor scenografii. Absolwent malarstwa ASP w Warszawie. Od 1971 roku rozpoczął działania artystyczne o charakterze performans i happeningu, które często utrwalał na fotografii. Od 1981 r. mieszka na stałe w Nowym Jorku, gdzie przez wiele lat współpracował z grupą performerską The Rivington School. Podejmuje również problematykę przemijania oraz zwraca uwagę na ograniczenia własnego ciała. Uczestnik wielu wystaw zbiorowych w Polsce i na świecie.
